I had to check that my laser printer would still work under High Sierra, it does. There have been driver issues with Fuji/Xerox printers in the past, the Men's Shed iMac was stuck on Yosemite for almost a year before the slack dogs came out with drivers to suit El Capitan.
One nice difference between Sierra & High Sierra is when using Mail in full-screen mode. When you’re using Mail in full-screen mode and go to compose a new message, the compose window automatically pops up beside the main window in Split View mode; in Sierra, the compose window obscures the main window and needs to be minimised and maximised if you want to look at different things, à la iOS.
I had to shut down that YouTube video. Man's a fucken idiot. Pronounces Peugeot as Pee-gee-ot. Not on my computer you don't.
Sleepimage hasn't gone. It & any swapfiles are now in a different form, contained within a permanently-mounted volume.

@kdfrawg Doesn't seem to have made much noticeable difference on the MBA, I updated that because it would get converted to APFS. Lost a few GB of space with the update. It seems that the sleepimage is gone.

Most odd. High Sierra doesn't sow up in the MAS as an update. But I found it when I searched for it.
FUCK YOURSELF, APPLE! MacBook Air has been badgering me to back up to Time Machine drives for a few days now. So when I do try, the fucken whoring backup does FUCK ALL except “preparing backup” for the last 50 minutes.
And there’s no sign of Hi Sierra
Just been reading bits of the Mac User Group's monthly PDF magazine (48 full-colour pages) on my iMac. nothing unusual about that but I did it without using my glasses. If the iMac didn't have a Retina display there's no way I'd have managed that.
