A friend last night invited about 25 friends & family members along to dinner in a Chinese restaurant to celebrated the release of $250 per week from his expenses list: he no longer has to pay child support to his ex-wife as the younger of the two kids has turned 18.
We had a pleasant surprise when we left the venue, he had already arranged topay for all food & drink consumed. I’d seen the splendid omelettes this place does, so I ordered a barbecued pork one.
The thing was enormous, almost as big as the serving plate, chock full of seasonal vegetables & thick slices of Chinese-style barbecued pork pieces. I estimate there had to be at least 5 eggs involved it the creation of that dish alone. A deep, rich intense eggy flavour abounded. Just the thing to drive @joanna around the bend.
Checked the iPad for available update, it said nothing new. Connected it to the MacBook Air through iTunes & the update was available. Tried on the iPad again, the system refreshed itself & the update became visible.
@kdfrawg With my 2008 MBP I lost two tiny screws when I bumped the container holding them. I later discovered the screws that hold a 2.5-in HD together are the same length & thread, the only difference being they have a torx drive head instead of a Phillips head.

@matigo The shuffle & repeat buttons are hidden in a less than obvious place and repeat each track had been selected previously.
I had trouble with my iPod Touch playing in the car today: it kept repeating each song, I had to manually advance each track & you can’t do that without taking your eyes off the road. Dangerous! Mr Google told me how to fix it & now all is well.
