Followed a link from Wikipedia in Chrome and got bombarded with all manner of nonsense, including a bald statement that my Mac was infected with three viruses & one item of malware. Did I wish to continue with their recommendation to download & use MacKeeper to fix it all up?
In the absence of a "No, you filthy cunting bastards, I do not" button, I simply quit all internet activity and commenced a scan of the system with Sophos Home. That's 65% done & noting nasty has been found yet.
@streakmachine It's the base Neo model, yet comes with cruise control; traction control/electronic stability control; anti-lock brakes; six airbags and iPod integration with the audio system.
@streakmachine My search criteria was a 100 km radius, with 2012 Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris & Mazda 2 models chose. Of those the cheapest was the nearest, under 10 km away. That's the one I bought.
Nope, not compatible with the audio system; which shows a message: Check USB. Doesn't matter, 6th gen iPod Nano has a clip on the back anyway.
Bunging some music onto the 3rd gen iPod Shuffle (the one without controls). Going to see if it works with the car audio in iPod mode.
Upgrade to TechTool Pro, version 9.6.1 now available with support for High Sierra & APFS drives.
A new antenna for that car is $49. I modified a shorter $25 one that screwed into the same receptacle on the roof as the proper one. The dashboard is two different shades of grey & reflects horribly in the windscreen. A dashmat will fix that.
