Indeed. It's been beneficial for my lower back, too. I can stand over the kitchen sink without significant pain for a lot more the the previous 2 minute limit.

A week or so ago I struggled to complete the physiotherapist-specified exercises. Since then, I have increased the number of repetitions by ⅓ and increased the tension of the latex resistance bands I was using. It's all quite achievable now. In a week I'll be having a telephone interview with the local hospital organisation's physiotherapy clinic to determine my needs and frequency of attendance plus exercises needed. There is a cost associated with these sessions, not onerous, just $10 per session.

I had a thought, but unfortunately I had a second thought. They ricocheted off each other and I can't find either anymore.

Something will it is inevitable with a project such as this.

Over the next week there will be extensive work done locally on three main roads in this suburb. Each of the roads will close for 24 hours where the railway level crossing infrastructure will be removed. Buses will replace passenger trains for at least ten days and the existing railway station will be demolished, leaving only the foundations for the new elevated railway station which will come into service on June 3rd, along with another new ground level station a few km further east where a new housing development has needed public transport infrastructure.
At the same time as each rail crossing is removed, crews will be joining the existing twin railway tracks and overhead electrical cables to the new 2.5 km long elevated railway which will replace the three railway crossings and house the new station.
It's going to be a bit hectic over the next couple of weeks but at the end, no vehicle travelling north/south through the area will have to stop for any trains.

My 2012 Mazda2 has done 230,000 km - I bought it used with 135,000km up. Still going strong, burns or leaks no oil, no signs of rust.

Today, for the first time since March 2nd, I was able to shower while standing. I did not need the shower chair.

I'll be lucky to get 18 months out of them. And by then they'll be quite tired.
