@streakmachine Ask @whoisashygirl, her viewpoint is much closer!
May be time to upgrade the old 2015 iPod Touch 6th gen. A new one has been released carrying the A10 Fusion SoC – as used in the current 6th gen 9.7-in iPad & iPhone 7. Available in 32 GB; 128 GB & 256 GB sizes with a price structure change.
For example, in Oz, the new 128 GB model is $30 more than the previous 64 GB variant. An extra $20 than the old 128 GB price buys the new 256 GB model.
@streakmachine Table salt is not just table salt, there’s also an anti-caking agent included.

Nice. I had the ext drive backing up via SuperDuper & it had made virtually no progress in 15 minutes. The same drive has been successfully cloned in 14 minutes with Carbon copy Cloner.
SuperDuper app was taking far too long to perform a regular clone of my iMac’s Fusion drive (156 GB in use out of 1.03 TB). Killed that process & changed the settings so it wouldn’t start backups as soon as the drive is detected.
Now backing up from the same source to the same destination using Carbon Copy Cloner, much more progress. The ext drive is an old USB 2·0 case although with a trio of dongles I could connect it via FW 800.
Instead, I have ordered a 3.5-in USB 3 drive enclosure from Amazon.
@streakmachine Generally, after about three of those, I don’t need to sneeze for about 5 days.
@whoisashygirl And I don’t care what Wikipedia says, they were definitely available before 1976.
@whoisashygirl Being several decades older, I remember buying proper old-fashioned WagonWheels, they were about 90 mm in diameter, chewy biscuits coated with rich chocolate & a jam & marshmallow filling. I can’t recall the price, though.
I’m very fond of iced coffee-flavoured milk drinks but the tendency for most manufacturers is to add too much sugar and/or not enough coffee.
ALDI has very recently released a very potent product with twice the amount of powdered coffee added compared to the most popular competing product (which is also sold in ALDI stores). The new stuff’s ingredients list is full-fat milk; sugar & coffee powder. It’s also cheaper per litre than the other stuff.
Personally, I find full-fat milks work better with chocolate flavours, low to reduced fat seems nicer as a cold coffee product to my palate.
This ALDI product is actually too potent for my liking, it needs to be either sweeter or have less coffee! My answer is to buy 750 mls of the competing product & 500 mls of the ALDI one & mix them thoroughly in an empty 2-litre milk bottle/jug before dispensing the mix back into the original bottles.
Remarkable flavour. Individual cherry-blossom ice cream with a core of strawberry coulis in a dark chocolate-lined almond waffle cone. Delicate yet intense.
