Casting your minds back to the final year of ADN, does anyone recall someone with the username of (@)macspert?
@sumudu It’s a bit more detailed. When you see the recording mini window, look to the right of the record button, there you’ll see a disclosure triangle or a caret, I can’t recall which. Clicking on this lets you select a cable-connected iPhone or iPad as the camera. Then whatever is shown on the connected device appears on the Mac’s screen. There’s no need to actually start a recording.
This trick also works with an Apple TV, believe it or not!
Having said that, though, Reflector 3 app is much easier. https://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector
Reflector 3 offers a free 7-day trial.

12South BookBook case for my Kindle Paperwhite arrived yesterday. Very nice to use & hold.
I found a thick-walled plastic cup I hadn’t used for a few years. It has a vertical channel in the inside & a filter attachment that slides down the channel to hold used coffee grounds or tea leaves at the bottom of the cup in a similar manner to a French press plunger. Brew up, plunge down, add milk/sugar/honey/cream to taste.
@streakmachine Was good to drive in traffic as it had a slushbox, only a 3-speed, though. I prefer manual gearboxes.
The air conditioning was fuct, not worth regassing. but due to near-vertical side glass & a reasonably upright windscreen I could drive on a 39ºC day with a few windows down & not be uncomfortable. Mum's 1996 Hyundai Elantra Sportswagon, though, it was a glasshouse on wheels. Once the interior temp was much over 23º it was A/C time.

Well, that’s different. A friend has recently bought a used SUV, a Suzuki Grand Vitara Urban spec. The Urban is 2 wheel drive only, but in a break from its rivals, the driven wheels are the back ones. This gives it the same towing limits as its 4wd stablemate.
@streakmachine I had one 10 years ago, sort of. My sister was driving a 1985 Datsun Bluebird station wagon and upgraded to a more reliable Toyota Camry wagon when she scored a promotion that meant she had to drive a lot more.
At that time I had a Ford Cortina that was rusting out, consuming vast amounts of oil & using too much fuel.
She suggested that her "shitbox" was better than my "shitbox" & said "drive mine, paying the registration & required insurance until you can afford something better."
The pic shows a similar one, except for the tinted windows.
