@joeo10 I notice Apple isn’t calling it RAM but Unified Memory. Possibly operating in a manner similar to swapfiles.
I bought a HomePod Mini online yesterday. When they were announced, the Apple website said order on Nov 7, deliveries start on Nov 16.
That’s blown right out, I can now expect it between Dec 9 & 16.
Wait a while before updating to Big Sur, says developer of Carbon Copy Cloner, Mike Bombich. https://mailchi.mp/bombich/carbon-copy-cloner-5-is-ready-for-macos-mojave-1183070

@matigo iOS 14 beta users are being notified with a constant message about a non-existent update.
@matigo Phone only gets hot if I forget to position it inverted (the charger is an easel-type) while in its case. Not only does it get hot but also doesn’t charge. This is because the case has a small steel plate such to the back near the bottom so I can attach it to a magmetic mount in the car. When inverted, the steel plate is clear of the induction coils.
I regularly keep my iPad 8, iPad Mini 5, iPod touch 7, iPhone SE & Apple TV Siri pemote in or very near the lounge room, so that’s where the 20 Watt USB-C charger & USB-0c to Lightning cable from the iPad 8. Whichever of those units need a charge gets hooked up to that source.
Less often with the iPhone, I have an old Qi charger it can use.
