@matigo Sustenance was required, so I headed to the nearby General Store/café for a nice big bowl of potato, celeriac & dill soup served with a few slices of crusty sourdough rye toast.
The barman has just started up the wood-fired heater. I just want to stay here, its so nice.
@sumudu Be even better on Thursdays thru to Sundays, that's when they serve meals. But there's a fine café adjoining and the barman doesn't mind customers eating their takeaway in the pub.
So I'm at the Oceanview Hotel in a little village on the coast, called Kilcunda. Friendly & warm, Blues playing quietly in the background. Here's why it's called Oceanview:
Sampling a few brews in a country pub. There's a couple of really nice beers I need to check out in greater quantity in the privacy of my own home. A pale ale & a golden ale from different brewers, both made with citrus hops. The taste of both brews really lingers at the back of the throat. Of the two, I prefer the golden ale.
Hmmm. The Cappuccino compose window turned the pic thru 90°.
