@matigo From a British TV series, KYTV, a witness to a Stuka dive bombing attack in WW2 said "It came out of the sky like an enormous tractor….."
Conducting personal empirical research into gastric reflux reduction. Last night, unlike the previous three nights,I consumed a large glass of hard (8%) ginger beer. This morning (3am) I was woken by gastric reflux, unlike my experience the previous three nights. On each of the days concerned, I've taken a proton pump inhibitor tablet at around 4pm. AFAIK, ginger isn't supposed to play nicely with gastric reflux conditios, so I wonder if it's a boozy fix instead. The brewer also makes hard versions of lemon, cider, berry & at least two other fruit drinks. Further research is needed.

@matigo Overnight that location recorded gusts in excess of 145 kph. But then it is a substantial promontory jutting into Bass Strait. To the southwest of that spot the nearest landmass is Antarctica, many thousands of km away.
That turd-faced cunt of a child next door has fucking done it again. Deliberately left toys and a broom handle on the driveway so I was unable to get past without having to shift the junk. She & her mother have been told plenty of times that the driveway is NOT a playing area.
@jextxadore One of my brothers has a good friend whose surname is Virgo.

An Antarctic blast, is one way to describe the weather for the next few days. Currently at a bit after 5pm, it's windy & wet, temperature is 7°C. Here's a forecast:
@matigo Sustenance was required, so I headed to the nearby General Store/café for a nice big bowl of potato, celeriac & dill soup served with a few slices of crusty sourdough rye toast.
