Most odd: after the Sierra update, the MB Pro needed me to enter my iCloud password to activate iCloud. None such required with the MBA.

Not yet. I've been away mist of the day. MBA is done, I was a bit vehind in my backups, there were two Time Machine backups of 74 GB to do as well as a pair of 92 GB clones. Waiting on the voice updates & new iWork app updates to download with the MacBook Pro.

While the SuperDuper! cloned drive ejects when the app quits, said quitting is a manual process. With Carbon Copy Cloner, though, the app quits when finished & the drive is ejected.

Clones done. One clone & one Time Machine drive goes to the Men's Shed with me for safe-keeping. The 2nd Time Machine backup will take longer, it's also 64 GB but is being done via USB 3 instead of Thunderbolt 1.
