Here at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Wall in the delightful town of Seymour. I'm sitting on the seat of my rollator walker waiting out a sciatica attack. When that's eased off I'll tackle the ither half of the walk.

Here's where I'm going today: http://www.vietnamvetswalk.org.au Been intending to get there sometime and the weather forecast is a fine rain-free afternoon. A two-hour drive and I might drop in on my cousin Helen who lives there. It's also my grandfather's home town.
@indigo Years ago I tried barbecued crocodile tail cutlets. It was OK but tasted too much like a fishy sort of chicken and priced at seven times that of chicken breast, I never bothered with it again.

Men's Shed group organised a Men's health awareness & checkup day for yesterday. Previosly, such events had drawn around 50 visitors, so we catered for that number again. There was a special prize, a big sandwich press donated by a major healthcare group which was to go to the shed with the most representatives along.
Disappointingly, only three other Sheds sent representatives. One was the organisations's State President, one was from the other Shed in this town and the other fellow was the man who developed the program in the first place.
There were probably about 25 people there, half of them being our Shed's members. So we get to keep the sandwich press.
We'll certainly never hold that event again. It had been publicised very widely for several months, reminder notices sent out regularly. APATHY RULES.
Take one Apple "Hockey-puck" mouse. Upscale it until you can get inside it. Bingo! That's the new Apple Car. Courageously abandoning wheels in favour of a Uniball because wheels have been around for over a 100 years.
