There was even a carrier update as part of the iOS 10 upgrade.

In desperation, I hit the lock button. When I unlocked the iPhone it stopped the "agree to the new terms" bullshit & let me do the required downloads. Unwanted stock Apple apps such as Apple Watch, Stocks & Find My Friends have been hidden. You don't really delete them, it just appears that way.

I seem to be stuck on an endless loop of agreeing to changed terms and conditions. FUCK YOURSELVES, APPLE, YOU'VE SCREWED UP AGAIN!

WHAT THE UNMENTIONABLE HAVE YOU DONE, APPLE? 14 apps need updating on the iPhone and I HAVE TO AGREE TO CHANGED TERMS AND CONDITIONS (FIFTY-FUCKING PAGES OF THEM) FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM?

iOS 10.0.1 installed on the iPhone SE. System suggested 2 factor authorisation. I skipped this. Last time I tried 2FA with Apple it nearly ended in MURDER. The recovery key that Apple issued turned out to be invalid, somehow. So fuck that for a joke. Can't recall quite how I got out of that 2FA debacle but the disaster is deeply etched on my soul.

Tweedledum & Tweedledee?

On the 4th Sunday of the month I'm co-presenting a two-hr discovery session on iOS 10/Sierra at a PC User group meeting. Could be helpful to know my subject!

iOS 10 downloaded to iPhone SE. Now verifying update. Installation has commenced.

That worked nicely. My coffee pod machine (K-fee system) was treated to a refilled pod. These pods have been redesigned inside, with a press-in disc that holds the coffee in place, the plasticised foil seals it in. Cut the top off a recently used pod, rinsed out in hot water, refilled with two teaspoons of my favourite coarse-ish grind, plastic disc replaced and the top covered in cling film.
As it was going to be used immediately, I didn't bother covering the hole in the bottom. It's really nice coffee and survived this brewing process with its smoothness and flavour quite intact.

Got the go-ahead from the Men's Shed group to purchase a 4G wifi router to supply reliable internet to the iMac. Hard to believe we've had that iMac for 10.5 months now.
