My home phone arrangement is four cordless Uniden DECT handsets, three on charging bases & one with a digital answering jigger which attaches to the broadband router/modem. Quite neat devices, if I add a number to the phonebook on any handset, the others get updated as well. The same with deleting caller IDs, clearing from one removes it from all. Plus there's a handsfree speaker on the back of each one. For night-time use, the numbers are illuminated when a handset is picked up.
And since there's a second RJ45 socket on the modem, I've been able to connect the kitchen's hard-wired phone via the existing wiring.
@matigo My Downloads & Documents folders need trimming. Got about 3 GB of stuff that ain't needed. Then again, I'm only using 140 GB out of 512.
Headache is subsiding. Chased away by the painkillers I take for my knee & back problems.
Three years ago my 32 GB cellular iPad Mini 2 was priced at $749. The 9.7-in unit I ordered 16 hours ago is $50 more. I get a bigger, brighter screen, twice the RAM, A9/M9 processors vs A7/M7 ones. Looking forward to its arrival.
Spending Easter at my brother's place this year. He has a few spare bedrooms but no extra beds. So today I bought an air bed that was on sale. There's even a mains-powered high volume air pump included in the package.
