Today in 2022: With a friend and a hired trailer I moved Mum's unused mobility scooter to my home from hers before spending the rest of the day with said friend.
Today in 2022: Mum died in the aged care facility she'd lived in for 14 months, just as I started driving home from my friend's home.

Refilled the food bowl, he’s been eating and pooping in the right place but now he’s in the wrong place. Bastard thing escaped through a tiny window gap and is nowhere to be seen. I went out for 40 minutes to refuel the car and do essential shopping. No cat inside anywhere. I’ve left food out by the open front and back doors.

I was planning on visiting the cat adoption centre at the RSPCA tomorrow (Friday) with the possibility of adopting a senior-age cat but an SMS reminder of an early afternoon physiotherapy appointment put paid to that plan. However, the adoption place is open seven days per week, so I can got there on Saturday.
Fun fact: The word sugar is the only word in the English language where "su" makes a "sh" sound.
At least, I'm pretty sure there's no issue with that.
