Maybe they're taking a leaf out of Microsoft's book & now doing an iPhone 9. Just as Microsoft went from Windoze 8.1 to Windoze 10.

Mac user group annual raffle 3rd prize will have to be updated: it was the 64 GB 4th gen Apple TV. Apple announced the Apple TV 4k a few hours ago and the 64 GB model is AU$20 less than the old one.

Tired of boiling water every time you make pasta? Boil a few gallons at the
beginning of the week and freeze it for later.

The inventor of the USB stick has died.

Thanks for the memory.

Reminds me of an ambitious project a friend of one of my brothers envisaged. A four-wheel-drive off-road lounge suite (a 2-seat sofa & a pair of armchairs) powered by a Ford 351 cu-in V8.
But he topped himself before he'd done much more than build the chassis.

can't help you there. I buy it either fresh or frozen.

With added chapters by me.

Whenever I do any ironing, all three bedrooms & the corridor are involved. The power cord & detachable steam iron base come into the end of the corridor from one bedroom. I stand at the very end of this corridor, in the open doorway of the end bedroom. The iron is stored on top of a chest of drawers beside the doorway.
The ironing board is mounted onto the door of the third bedroom & folds down into place. I put the iron base on the end of the board nearest the hinge & put the iron on the base. Normally I use the iron in cordless mode but sometimes for heavy work I leave the base attached, using the iron as a conventional corded one. It works for me.

@kdfrawg I did buy a rechargeable battery incorporating wireless recharging for my original Magic Mouse. It sat on its charging pad when not in use. Then the cat attacked the mouse and the fall onto a tiled floor broke the catch holding the battery in place.
