Thus endeth the temporary replacement of an almost 10-year-old 15-inch MacBook Pro for a 3-year-old MacBook Air that needed its screen replacing.
I've been generally impressed with the way the elderly beast has coped and I must say I'll miss using that delightful keyboard.
$860 later, I have the repaired MacBook Air with me. I found the upper section of an Incase hard shell in one of the bedrooms, it's now fitted, offering more protection for the screen from external impacts.
Sit still, will ya, cat? How can I use you in bed as an iPad stand when you wiggle & writhe about?

@kdfrawg If you were a true frawg, of the wide-mouthed variety, you could have a chunk of cheese in one side of your mouth & a cracker in the other side. Chew off bits of both and combine them inside your mouth.

@hybotics I don’t think I’ve ever tried Morbier cheese. Might be due to milk pasteurisation regulations here. Or perhaps it’s a function of distance, we’re about 10,000 km from France.

I took a precaution with the wrist injury last night, I wore the brace to bed because I could feel the wrist bending in a manner not conducive to comfort. The injury manifested itself in my sleep a few nights ago so I was taking no chances.
