I could see the load of thin particle board atop an overloaded panel van was poorly secured, just poorly roped onto the roof without the use of any racks.
Of course the wind of his passage got underneath and peeled each one off in turn. I managed to avoid any debris because I was expecting something like that to happen. Idiot didn't even realise he lost it.

@kdfrawg I’m splitting myself across Twitter (not much time there), Pnut, 10C, Mastodon & a former Mastodon instance known as counter.social. That’s least to most amount of time spent on each one. You can see 10C in the middle.

@kdfrawg Great minds think alike/fools rarely differ?

Only one I know is on the Windows Phone platform, MetroTube. It lets you download vids.

My reverse-opening umbrella has arrived.

No. It just behaves more logically- no need to open new tabs to get stuff to play. That what YouTube does in Safari on my Macs. No offline capability.

Glasses fixed. New screw fitted. Loctite added to screws.

I am not having much luck with these extended-range multifocal computer/reading glasses.
Once, the left lens fell out & vanished because a screw loosened itself and also fell out. The spectacle shop replace the lens after ten days.
Then one arm came off because the retaining screw sheared off. They were unable to effect a repair & replaced the entire frames with a new set under warranty.
This meant that of the original glasses, only the right lens remained.
That fell out 30 minutes ago, disappearing screw problem. At least I haven’t lost the lens this time.
So I’m heading off for yet another repair.

So I was having a bit of a fang at a twisty section of road today. Fun it was. I was being careful, though, making sure to stay as close to the outer edge of the road surface as possible.
Came around a sharpish right-hander & there's a fuckwit in a VW Polo coming at me over the wrong side of the road. Fortunately it was a wide road at this point & my precaution paid off.
