I have an appointment with my GP at 5:30 pm, if I call at or near opening time in about three hours, there may be cancelled appointment slots available earlier in the day.
Re pain in right wrist: I’m inclined to think it’s tendon-related. In the most tender spot there’s noticeable swelling plus it all responds best to ice packs & lightly tied compression dressings that reduce joint movement.
A modicum of comfort from an ice pack & laying the wrist flat on the bed got me a few hours of sleep. Still not much fun.
Pain level is extraordinarily intense now. I cannot even think what the condition is or it’s cause. All I know is that it hurts immensely. The pain is moving up my forearm to the elbow now.
I don’t like it at all.
Crazy weather forecast for the coming weekend: Saturday, 41°C; then 20°C on Sunday.
This is awkward: severe pain in my right wrist not responding much to rest, ice, compression, elevation or medication. Doctor's appointment scheduled for tomorrow evening, earliest possible on for the clinic I attend.
Difficult & painful when attempting or carry/grip items. I can lift things OK, as long as wrist movement is negated.
