There’s wifi here but it’s abysmally slow, I’m better off sharing from the Lumia 1520, that has some 74 GB remaining on the 80 GB annual plan. There’s 8 months to run, I have to find some way of using all that data.
It’s by no means a new motel but it’s well featured and the mattress is firm, comfortable & supportive. There could be more power outlets for my gadgets to charge but I’m coping OK.
I just don’t have the same religious observance as my cousins who’ve just buried their mother today. I observe the Sunday service is at 9am & checkout time for this motel is 10 am. My theory is that if they attend the church service at 9 they’ll be back at their late parents’ house by 10 when I drop in for a final visit before heading home to a foul & feral Victorian winter. I’m currently in the adjoining state of New South Wales although Victoria is only 2 km away across the river.
Weather app says temp outside is 8.2°C, feeling like 2.6°. Brrrr. I’m sitting back in a cosy armchair in the motel sipping a great cup of tea & chowing down on a wedge of brie that went missing since I bought it on Tuesday. I found it in the back of the car under a bag of assorted hats.
Worked out how to get the reverse-cycle A/C into heat mode & I’m happy.
Very well-equipped motel room. Double bed, microwave, kettle, TV, fridge, A/C, toaster, even a proper teapot. That’s about to get used.
One somewhat disrespectful aspect of the funeral puzzles me. How did such an enormous woman fit into a standard coffin? She really was a barge-arse.
@matigo That’s actually a reasonably good one. Here’s a pic of the horrid muck.
