March 1 & 2 were when my ALDI-Mobile $99 Super Pack for my spare phone became due for renewal. ALDI-Mobile uses a base Pay As You Go plan of a minimum $15 per year. The Super Pack includes 15 GB of data, unlimited SMS & calls, but any international calls or MMS messages come from the PAYG credits. With sufficient of the latter, you can offset the cost of the Super Pack.
At the end of March 2, 2021, I had $20.05 accumulated in PAYG credits so I used all of them & paid an additional $79.95 for a further 365 days of usage of the data/calls/SMS component, then bought another $15 PAYG because otherwise I’d have around $35 of credits & I only use about $5 of them per year. They require you to purchase a minimum od $15 per year at renewal. if you don’t, after a few months they take away your phone number as that’s associated with the PAYG section.
The Men’s Shed uses my old iPhone SE with a similar plan because of the generous extra data available when the 15 GB runs out: $60 buys &0 GB of data & you can roll over up to 200 GB per annum.
