We had the annual home-owners Body Corporate meeting yesterday. It was decided, for the first time since the units were built in 1980, to form a committee of interested owners. One item the cropped up was the overall colour scheme: the seven dwellings are in red brick, with burgundy window trims, cream garage doors & Mission Brown guttering. We resolved to come up with a modern alternative for those owners contemplating renovations.
I suggested rather than relying just on colour swatches from a paint store that we go digital, take photos and use some app to replace various colours as a more representative process. Swatches in isolation are only an indication, not reliable over larger areas.
I have found Pixelmator on my Macs to have an easy & effective colour replacement capability, so I've been practicing with it.
