like I say, I don't remember!

It's an easy mistake……
At the bar the other night, I overheard three very hefty women talking. Their accent appeared to be Scottish, so I approached and asked: "Hello, are you three bonny lassies from Scotland?" One of them screeched: "It's Wales, Wales, you idiot!" So I apologised and replied: "I am so sorry. Are you three whales from Scotland?" And that's the last thing I remember.

I don't have access to one.

Today my back pain has manifested itself in a different way. Normally it's a dull ache across both sides of the spine at the lumbar region. But not today. Currently it's a sharp stabbing pain on the right side of the lumbar region.

And yes, I am familiar with the pain associated with a stabbing incident.

Reading the detailed description of what was done at today's vehicle service: replaced sump plug washer, $2.68, shows the attention to detail applied by that independent workshop.

It's to avoid a bruise forming, like this one

IMG_0405.JPG that's almost a week old.

Having had a blood sample extracted from my left arm today, I've been advised to avoid heavy lifting with that arm. A 21.5 inch iMac & accessories in its original box weighs a bit over 6 kg. Is that considered heavy?

Don't feel so sad, I have 20-20 vision in one eye and I still use bold text on my iPhone. And I use reading glasses.

I did very similar damage years ago to a work-assigned van. Took it to an assessor, who then demanded to know why it was still being driven as it was supposed to have departed the vehicle fleet six months earlier! At that stage I'd been using it for five months after I'd rolled & written off an earlier van. The next day I was assigned a brand-new Toyota Hi-Ace, way superior to the Mazda E1800 I'd broken.
