Q: Three men in a boat with four cigarettes but no matches or other ignition sources. What to do?

A: Easy. Throw one cigarette overboard. The whole boat becomes a cigarette lighter.

I get that happening on the Mac. I use Epichrome in association with Chrome browser to make Cappuccino into a site-specific browser. Remembering to definitely click in the reply window is the trick, but it's likely harder on iOS.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for a light sweet fruity wine and I've found an interesting rose style made from moscato & cienna grapes. It's seriously fruity and a shade drier than regular moscato wines but is still quite sweet. The low alcohol content is a nice aside, it's 7% ABV.

More info on the cienna grape: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cienna

Just added three teaspoons of instant coffee to a little boiling water & milk powder. This mix was then added to a 750 ml bottle of espresso-flavoured milk to bring up the coffee to sugar ratio, it was far too sweet. The double espresso version was sold out in the supermarket.
The mix fix is more palatable now.

Shopping observations from today. Odd pricing. 16 GB SanDisk iXpand 2 is $79 but the 32 GB model is $56. A ¾ kg bag of frozen prawn gyoza dumplings is $16 and the 1 kg bag of the same product & brand is also $16.

Is silly.

@kdfrawg Whenever I see or hear the word "Starbucks," my mind automatically substitutes an "f" for the letter "b."

The Men's Shed iMac had an external HD with an experimental basic installation of Sierra on it. I fired it up just to see how many updates were available, it said 15, including Microsoft OneNote & OneDrive, neither of which are installed on the computer or the ext HD.

I'll admit it had me a bit flummoxed, then I realised the USB stick which has the Sierra 10.2.2 combo updater had copies of those two apps on it & the MAS was obviously seeing those & wanting to update them.

Not happening, I decided. I rebooted into the Yosemite installation & repartitioned the ext HD to remove the Sierra install, allowing the freed space to revert to Time Machine duties.

I'm now installing Sierra on the iMac itself.
