@streakmachine So you're saying iTunes 12 will work with an iPhone 3GS? It's totally pointless doing a Google search on the matter because it never finds what I want to know.
@literary I use a Mac App Store app called Spacie to work out which files are taking up the most space. It has a Finder-like interface & can be used to delete files/folders/apps, etc.
I do realise your financial circumstances are dire, but currently the app is ½-price at $3.99.

@literary I have set CleanMyMac to prompt me to empty Trash when it reaches 1 GB.
@matigo one such township us clise to the state's northern border. Years ago I did some telecommunications training with a fellow who sometimes worked there from his base which was 3 hours away by road. Picture this: 3 hours to drive there; 40 minutes to work; 30 minute lunch break; 3 hours to home. That the full 8 hr & 10 minute day gone. Old Joe said they eventually worked out it was best if the workers stayed somewhere nearby. The hotel had no rooms, they had to set up a caravan on the telephone exchange grounds and pay a special hardship allowance.
Mac User Group member wants to know if it's possible to backup contacts & apps on an iPhone 3GS running iOS 6.1.6 to a Mac running El Capitan.
I checked the iMazing app's website & the 3GS is supported.
Our parish priest retired yesterday, celebrated his final mass as parish priest alongside his replacement. We also lost our assistant priest. He's a Polish immigrant and has only been ordained for three years, he's been allocated to the isolated mountain communities in the east of the state.
So it's bye-bye to Father Bernie, hello Father Bernard.
This new bloke's gonna be awfully busy.
@sumudu I could do what you did yesterday and say it's fine on my Mac. But that would be petty. I wouldn't behave like that, now, would I?
Actually it seems I have, ah well, pettiness rules.
@c I found this online whilst doing some family tree stuff: From the “Other Districts” section of the “Country News” in Melbourne‘s Argus newspaper, Feb 18th. 1928.

Miss Barbara Cawcutt was entertained by her friends before her marriage to Mr Fitzpatrick, of Wangaratta. Miss Cawcutt was also entertained by the parents of the pupils at the Barham Valley school, where she had been head teacher, and presented with a silver teapot & egg cruet.
They were my grandparents, she was the sole teacher at that little school. At 24-years-old.

@kdfrawg I've been peppered with salt cellars, so I couldn't decide which to put up there with it.
