@streakmachine My ”cheese grater” G5 needs a new video card. I can start it in Target Disk mode & connect it to the eMac, G4 PowerBook or G4 PowerMac & tell that machine to use the G5 as the start-up drive and it works, albeit slowly.
I’ve found a Mac reseller that also deals in older machines like the G5, so when I can afford it, I’ll get it grating again.
