Most of the aquatic exercises given to me by the physiotherapist work my hips, thighs, and knees. One of the at-home ones involves sitting upright with the back unsupported. I then have to alternately lift each thigh without moving my torso. A week ago, that was painful in the left thigh because the muscles weren't able to handle the job. It would appear the three 45-minute aqua-therapy sessions have helped in that area, because there's much less thigh pain when doing the seated thigh lifts.
