I’ve just has some sad news. A good friend and fellow tech nerd was found deceased in her home a couple of hours ago after not showing up at her workplace earlier. No suspicious circumstances, it's (at this stage) suspected she may have had a fall or some such. She was legally blind, with 10% vision in one eye only but this never stopped her from using various Macs, iPhones, iPads and other assistive devices and apps. She also headed a company that provided assistive services to others with vision issues. I'd been looking forward to talking with her tomorrow at a Mac User Group meeting but it wasn't to be, unfortunately.
