Interesting weather. It hit 33°C yesterday and with hot northerly winds, 38°C is expected today. It's the first total fire ban day for the season, too. No fires may be lit in the open air. Those hoping for a warm spell will be disappointed though, there's a cold front hammering its way from Antarctica towards us, tomorrow it might get as "high" as 16°C with following days even cooler.
Last night I slept on the sofa in the living room because that's where the reverse-cycle A/C is fitted.
I have a committee meeting to drive to today and then I'll be visiting a friend I've not seen in quite a while. The venues are on the opposite sides of a major peninsula, I can expect it to be hotter for the meeting than for the evening visit.
