I'm using the MBA on my bed, lying on my side. The cat wanted attention so she wandered over & started head-butting my right arm. As cats do. At this stage, she's at one side of the keyboard/trackpad area. She then wandered AROUND the side & front of the laptop to the other side, never once stepping on it. Then repeated the process three more times, never stepping on the laptop at all, even taking extra-long steps to avoid it.
I acquired this cat as a de-sexed, immunised & microchipped 5+-year-old adult.
Other quirky behaviour: she will madly chase the red dot of a laser pointer. If I drag the pointer across my foot, with or without footwear, she will stop the chase, only resuming when the pointer is away from my foot.
Weird.
