For the last week under state of Emergency conditions we've had to wear masks while outside. This was to be reviewed on August 16. Not happening now, we've been downgraded to stage 4 restrictions under a state of Disaster until at least Sept 13th.
Folk complain about the ear loops of their masks hurting their ears over time. I have a solution.
My latest invention: EarSavers! Double-sided Velcro cable tie cut in half. One end of each half wraps around the elastic ear loop of a disposable (or otherwise) mask. Fit over the ears as normal then stretch the other ends behind the head and fasten to each other.
