@larand Toyota is recalling 5.8 million cars worldwide affected by the Takata airbag issue. In Australia's small market that's 179,710 cars manufactured between March 2007 & December 2011. The affected models are Yaris, Corolla & Avensis Versos. My 2006 Yaris had a similar defect rectified under one of three recalls in the past 12 months.
