A Setapp-sourced app I use called Al Dente Pro, which I use to regulate laptop battery health (charges to a maximum of 80% with my chosen settings, for example) has picked up a handy trick with the latest update. I generally set the MacBook Air to use low power mode when running on its battery but some apps, Handbrake being one of them, work faster on full power.
Now with Al Dente Pro if I right-click on its menubar icon, I can toggle between low and full power modes.
