@matigo It is compared to the iPad 5. However, the iPad Mini has the same processor & RAM as the iPad 8 but a smaller display. So it was no surprise to see Geekbench 5 results at around 5% faster for the Mini.
Geekbench 5 says the Mini has a 2.49 GHz ARM processor against a 2.49 GHz Apple Silicon one in the iPad 8.
