@streakmachine Didn’t work properly, I couldn’t get it to scroll.
Mac User Group celebrates its 40th birthday this year: I'll be bringing a few old Macs to a meeting venue: Mac Classic II; Pismo G3 PowerBook; Titanium G4 PowerBook; 15-inch G4 PowerBook & the pride of the fleet, the 12-inch G4 PowerBook. I know the PowerBooks all work, not so sure about the Classic, though. I'll have to check that one.
@matigo All clear in that respect, have added a different form of the same medication as advised by my GP. Now using eyedrops morning & early afternoon, followed by the ointment at night.
@matigo Dunno. I've been avoiding such things anyway because of the headaches brought on by the infection. Conjunctivitis is very contagious, I have to know if I have to avoid people for a time or not.
Conjunctivitis treatment continues, it's helping, I have less pain, my eyeballs no longer feel too big for the sockets. Seeing my GP in 9 hours to inform him of the affliction, its diagnosis & treatment & to confirm it's OK to keep it up.
@streakmachine Faster processor (1.5 GHz vs 1.42 GHz) & higher system bus speed (167 MHz vs 142 MHz) & a faster 64 MB VRAM video card vs a 32 MB one in the iBook are all contributing factors. Both used the same PC2700 333 MHz RAM, the iBook could have 1.5 GB vs the 12-in PowerBook's 1.25 GB.
Geekbench 2 figures put the PowerBook slightly ahead at 725 vs 713.
