Took the old car (2012 Mazda 2) to get a wheel alignment as I realised on a trip yesterday that there was a shimmy/vibration in the steering that shouldn't exist. The front tyres had to go as well as one was almost down to its tread depth wear bars and the other had a slash in the sidewall.
Next week the brakes are getting checked as the pedal is too spongy then the following day it's going to a panel shop to fix the buggered right front fender.
