An annoyance I've noticed on High Sierra is that I've had to completely rebuild the list of startup items on both the iMac & MacBook Air. On both, the 19 items were reduced to a mere 3. I first noticed it on the iMac yesterday, I was able to use the list on the MBA to reconstruct the list. I worked fro memory when fixing the MBA's list.
