@hazardwarning Before Australia adopted the Metric system, living areas in dwellings were expressed in "squares," or "sq," with one square being 100 square feet. So my 3-bedroom free-standing flat or unit of 88.25 sq metres or 950 sq ft would have been referred to as 9.5 squares.
There's also a lock-up single vehicle garage, a 3 x 4 m garden shed & around 70 sq m of lawn.
