Last year I bought a Plugable Thunderbolt 4 dock to use with my Mac Mini and a cheap 28-in 4k monitor so I could connect various external devices that have USB-C/Thunderbolt connections. Since purchasing the Apple Studio Display which three 10 Gbps downstream ports (which can each supple up to 15W for charging), I have not used the dock very much.
Today I used it on the MacBook Air to connect a couple of backup drives, which it can easily cope with as the three downstream ports can each handle up to 40 Gbps connection speeds at 15W each.
I thought I'd check the rate at which the dock (with a 5.5A mains power supply) would charge the laptop and found it was 60W, double that of the charger supplied with the Mac.
