@indigo I bought my 2014 MBA from such a place. That shop has struck a deal with Apple: Every year they get first dibs on 2-yr-old ex-Apple executive MacBook Airs that have the highest possible specification at the time.
Mine was still paired to the former user's Magic Mouse.
