I have dozens of CDs I copied over to miniDisc before I had a mac capable of connecting to an iPod, which i also lacked at the time. I have two miniDisk recorders, on fits in a shirt pocket, the other is built into a stereo system. The latter has the ability to rip a CD to miniDisc in half the time taken to play said CD. but you then have to manually rename each track using the arrows on the stereo’s remote control, somewhat tedious.
